Sims 3 Tagging – Questionnaire

I am bogarting my way into this Questionnaire, while I twiddle my thumbs installing video games on my external hard drive – taking FOREVERRRRR. :’(

fairsteadsims:

1. Do you use cc or are you a vanilla game player?
2. Favorite way to play the sims?
3. Best in game moment while playing (i.e. favorite moment in a family you played, sims gone wrong, funny or random shit.)?
4. Most used item from an expansion pack?
5. Maxis Match or Realistic gameplay?
6. Cc addiction, if you use it, if not, Expansion Pack addiction?
7. Favorite EA world/Custom world?
8. Do you think store content is useful?
9. Favorite animal from Pets Expansion?
10. What do you want to see in Sims 4 if you’re getting it?
And I’m not tagging anyone because I’m a lazy s.o.b. 😑

1: I was Vanilla for TS1 and most of TS2, but I didn’t last one frikkin week in TS3 before I went on the rampage searching for CC hottubs and pool tables. Naturally there weren’t any to be found, but once I had opened pandora’s box, stumbling onto MTS, TSR and such, there was no turning back… O_O CC addict ever since. I like to tell myself I’m a recovering addict. Lies, of course.

2: Anarchy, mayhem, war, tragedy, sin, homicide, and bunny rabbits.

3: The most amazing moments in my TS3 experience all happened at the officials, oddly enough: when I was gifted Hidden Springs and the More Magic set; when I was gifted Supernatural, and when Dragon Valley and Into the Future were announced. I was officially set. My gameplay went up several notches after that, when before that I was thoroughly bored with TS3 and hardly played at ALL.

4: As much as I hate Late Night, the only reason I haven’t uninstalled it yet is because it came with rather cool build/buy objects, even if the CAS department was a load of crap. So I use the musical instruments a lot, and the mixology bar, and the wallpapers and floors in build mode, and the windows and doors. Those are LN’s only redeeming qualities, I find. Because the Vampires were just sad.

5: Neither. I am strictly Fantasy Gameplay. I am not into Berry Sims, surprisingly enough; while I do get a kick out of cutesy whimsical stuff from time to time, I’m more of a dark soul, honestly. I like Medieval/Gothic supernatural gameplay, full of swords and sorcery. I got Ambitions right away, to make use of the Time Traveller stuff, and WA so my sims could explore tombs and fight mummies in exotic places. Supernatural was a frikkin godsend; I LOVE having more lifestates and magical things to do. And with ITF I can finally expand my SciFi/Steampunk gameplay, since I love Star Wars and Star Trek (Wars more than Trek, actually).

6: CC Addiction. I am always on the hunt for more Male CC for CAS. Most of my sims are male, and it’s just so hard to dress them, especially in lavish/exotic clothes; I don’t mean jeans and t-shirts. If I ever have vaguely realistic gameplay, I make my sims goths. It’s easier to dress them that way, without everyone looking like Vanilla sims. My only EP addiction is Supernatural. If I had to uninstall every EP but 1, SN would be the one I kept. Then AMB (because I need the activities), then WA (because I need the worlds/culture), then ITF (because it’s awesome).

7: For so long my fave world period was Hidden Springs. It had the perfect blend of fantasy and realism, and it wasn’t too big. But Dragon Valley has dwarfed all worlds in my opinion; it’s PARADISE. I am also obsessed with Midnight Hollow, I’ll admit. Those are my top 3 Store worlds. The only EP worlds I like are Shang Simla, from WA, and ITF’s Oasis Landing. I wish I had a Japanese world instead, but China is close enough. πŸ˜› They’re both Vacation worlds, though, which is highly annoying. I do not like any other EP worlds all that much. Twinbrook was alright, but a far cry from the NOLA I want. That would be my top 3 EP worlds. Moonlit Falls is a boring bust, though the houses are actually very nice; I like them slightly more than the Midnight Hollow houses, actually.

8: Useful? Well, of course they’re useful; I USE a lot of Store CC; thanks to my great friends at the officials I get Gifted a lot, and I use the CC to furnish the lots I upload to the Exchange. Is Store CC actually WORTH the going price, however? HAYUL TO THE NAW. >_< I don’t even think the Worlds should be so expensive! Why is EA charging Stuff Pack prices for a set of maybe 20-40 items?! I don’t think sets should EVER be more than $5 at absolute most, and I’ve believed since day 1 that the early worlds like Barnacle Bay were hardly close to worth the $10+ fees EA was demanding; let alone the outrageous $30 – $40 rates some of the Gold worlds touch. Premium Content ain’t all THAT premium to cost $5 a pop; REALLY, EA? o_O

9: I don’t have Pets, cuz I’m scared my PC won’t be able to handle the wild animal spawn and the graphics requirements. But I SO BADLY want the Unicorns and the dogs and the deer! :’( It hurts my heart to see simmer pics posted; I am soooo jealous!

10: I am not planning on getting TS4 at all, frankly. I’ll wait to see what kind of Expansions/SPs come out. Though more than likely I’ll just convert everything to TS3. πŸ˜› I am just not interested; the aesthetic looks all wrong to me.
