I think I’m going to completely redo the Nagron Wedding posts I had planned. I just don’t like the way the Ceremony pics turned out, I didn’t use the right kind of CC, and it could be….better. : Urgh.

look at them being all romantic! Marriage with sacrifice sounds like a
very tempting deal, but I think if someone offered me to marry, I still
be like ‘Ahm…maybe you’ll make a shrine for me instead?’ xD

Shrines are cool, especially if there are tithes involved (cackles), but I’m a dragon – we like sacrifices.

I’m glad all the trivia was informative! Ancient culture is my life. I wish I lived way back when. I’d probably be dead (from boredom…and starvation…and plague) within a year, but still. 😛

My sims don’t have real weddings all that often; I just used Debug Enabler to quickly alter the Relationships I want, so my sims can be married immediately with the click of a button. Going about it the right way was interesting! 🙂

Galatea’s suffering from her own special strain of Mother Of the Bride Groom Syndrome. XD She’s clever; Agron probably got his blustering headstrong charm from his father; his mom’s way more manipulative with hers. My mom told me straight out: if I ever get married, she WILL be bogarting my authority. I probably won’t even be allowed to pick out my own dang cake. Can’t wait…. >_>

If she’s anything like those so-called Vestal Virgins who were always ending up pregnant with some dude’s baby in Roman sagas…yes? : But whatever; she’s just doing this priestess gig part time so she can pay her way through medical school. 😛

You KNOW those shotgun weddings were made for the GROOMS. XD Bet they had to be dragged to the altar kicking and screaming. We women have been LIED to, I say! First they say men are always shying away from commitments and don’t want to be tied down, then they say women would end up pregnant and NOT WANT TO get married? Back when women hardly had any rights or suffrage or good employment? And THEY had to be dragged to the altar and given away by their fathers? AS if! The fathers were [probably there pointing the shotgun at the groom! XP

Me too, it’s the most GORGEOUS season we got in Seasons. The snow covering everything is just so pretty; plus there are more outside activities for sims when the snow is thick, like snowballs, ice skating, snowmen, snow angels, etc. I almost don’t want Spring to come back. LOL!
