Good news, folks! I am now $100 poorer and a new PC monitor richer! ^0^
I STG I got THE cheapest monitor in the store. 😛 I was looking for refurbished ones that were under a hundred bucks, but they’re all Online/Delivery Only, and I don’t want to wait 5+ business days; my monitor is dead NOW.
All the repair places – effing Geek Squad included – were like: it’s not worth sending my laptop in to get the monitor repaired. They all want $30- $50+ off the top, just to have the laptop shipped to their facility, before they even see it or start doing repairs – which often go to $100 or more anyway. So unless I was planning on getting some amazing $200+ plasma HD 1000 foot long monitor in the first place (which i AIN’T) they were all pretty much like: buy a new monitor.
So, had to bite the bullet.
WHY don’t people do on-site repairs!? DAAAAAANG!
But yeah. My life this month.

Thank you so much! Yup, the computer issue has been solved (*knock on wood*) and classes are fun! (I’ll be terrified all semester, dreading the final exams for sure, but yup! Good times!)

I think the whammy was put on me, because my sister cracked my mom’s monitor a few months ago, and it’s been getting progressively worse, with the dead pixels spreading. My mom and I were *just* discussing the merits of finding a new monitor for her, when mine blew out completely. STRANGE timing.
I’d looooove to take German; that’s my 2nd favorite European language after Greek. I want to go to Germany/Austria/etc one day; I find their architecture to be so breathtaking. They KILLED the Baroque and Rococo period. Yeah, France had amazing stuff, but DANG. Those Germans were on artistic PCP. ❤

The words itself are okay, but the verb conjugations came straight from the devil.
