Has anyone encountered some glitch where your comments aren’t actually showing up in people’s notes anymore, even with the new Comments Fix? Firefox just updated itself, so maybe that’s the problem? Or am I just crazy?
Alrighty, everyone, I asked New-XKit about it, and it’s officially a Effing Tumblr issue.
The unofficial comment fix stopped working on Tuesday. It also wasn’t
ever associated with the New XKit team, mostly because we had predicted
that Tumblr would change the code it was using to add comments within a
few days of removing them.
So I sent Tumblr a nice little COMMAND to hurry up and bring back comments, and I recommend everyone do the same. The more people who call them out on their counterproductive ‘fixes‘, the better.
