Remember when @murfeelee suggested to write a letter to Tumblr support about replies going away? I did, and among all the things I asked when they’re planning to give them back. So I just got the response from the member of Tumblr Staff and they say ‘At this time, we do not have an ETA for their return.’ in addition to ‘thank you for your feedback’ and so on. So, I assume, the new feature is absolutely not ready for release if there no ETA at all?
I’m just praying a 3rd party solution will be implemented while Tumblr struggles to find it’s own arsecrack in broad daylight with Dora the Explorer’s map and GPS coordinates.
They haven’t even RESPONDED to my message. XD …I think I’ll send them another one. 😛
And is this http://www.davidslog.com/132564574700/wizardries-can-tumblr-make-it-so-we-can-reply thing legit? That’s a bonafide Tumblr staff member? Not just smoke and mirrors and empty promises? Or am I just too darn jaded, thinking they’re just pulling our chains. -__-
[EDIT] Just fired off another message to Tumblr Support, asking about the validity of that Davidslog link. AND I mentioned to them how they really need to do something about the Fanmail System, too. We need a better way to Private Message, especially now that they’re cutting the rug out from under us with this Comments hooplah.
