listen

”Trash, trash, trash  . . trash! Man common I know there has to be something good in this one!”

Namira exclaimed angrily and with impatience and she rummaged through the old chests finding essentially the same things she’s been finding for years. Old useless relics.

Namira huffed as Mateus and her moved onto the next room

“Let’s just keep trying I guess . .”

Namira surveyed the room untill something caught her eye “Now . . what isss that?”

Namira looked straight ahead at the suspicious sarcophagus ahead. She jumped over the small fence and approached it. Namira heard a slight whisper. ”Hm?” She looked around, “Maybe my imagination.”

Namira touched the door of the sarcophagus and felt a small shiver come down her back, ignoring it she opened it and looked inside. It started to glow and she  became blinded. “Oh boy, this must be one shiny treasure, I think we reached the jackpot Mateus!”

Mateus began to bark as Namira went deeper inside the sarcophagus, and then she was sucked in.

. .

The blinding light faded and Namira found herself in a suspicious room .It seemed to be extremely old, as ivy was growing over the tall bookcases, old papers scattered across the floor, statues of Goddesses, but there was a certain charm to it. What caught Namira’s attention was the chalice placed right smacked the middle of the room, that emitted a faint glowing light.

As Namira approached the chalice the glowing got stronger, and it seemed to emit some kind of essence from it. Also, the closer she got, more whispers seemed to emerge.

“Huh. .what is this place. .?”

“essence. . “ Namira couldn’t make heads or tails of what the whispers were saying. She stopped in front of the curious object and stared at it. Then she picked it up, and she sort of blanked out staring into it.

“Essseennceee. Feel.” The magic emitting was getting stronger and stronger, almost overpowering Namira’s being she was almost enthralled by–

“It’s about time…” A woman’s voice erupted from the chamber and the magic had quickly faded. The papers flew up all around the room, then Namira turned around in shock.

“Who’s there!?”

But when Namira turned, all she saw was a fading blue misty rupture. She turned back to the stone in hand which seemed to be no longer glowing.

But she still heard the whispers in her head. .
“I have to take this to Almia … “

Namira turned around and exited the chamber as Mateus barked happily to see her again, she jumped over the fence and ran out of the tomb, as he followed.
