Simblr Survey Thing – TS3

I decided to answer the TS4 simblr survey, but switched it up for TS3 instead. 😛

1) If you could control EA, and TS3 was still being made, what would the next pack have contained?
Medieval EP. Everything we could do in TSM, we would have been able to do for TS3. Eff you, EA, for making it some silly standalone.

After that, I’d’ve done a Steampunk EP, where sims could time travel to the past and future. I wanted a fabulous Victorian world set in Steampunk London or something, with dirigibles and sky pirates and steam powered vehicles and appliances and industrial buildings. EA just gave us the future, which is great, but…yeah.

After that, I’d want a World Adventures Part 2, where we could travel to Japan, Viking Norway, India/Cambodia, the African Congo, or the Amazon rainforest.

2) What is your most abused cheat/hack/mod?
MoveObjectsOn and Motherlode. My motherlode is modded to give 100k simoleons. ^-^

3) What sort of CC can you never, ever say no to?
For Build/Buy mode I drool over medieval/fantasy CC. Wood carved furniture and antiquated appliances/electronics and arcane clutter. I wish we had more Build Mode stuff for castles and dungeons though. I also loveloveLOVE cultural CC, from places and times other than the contemporary/modern Western world.

For CAS I am always on the lookout for more Male CC. There are still so many hairs that need to be gender-converted, and I get especially excited for new clothes meshes. I wish there were more Male CC creators, especially ones that catered to high fashion, couture, and glam-rock styles, so we could get cool hair and outfits, not just the same old jeans and t-shirts.

4) If your simself could take only one thing to a desert island, what would it be (no boats, etc.)
My avatar sim Sakura is a fairy-witch, so she could just fly away if she wanted to…? (And trust me: she’d want to.)

5) What color/pattern are you never sick of seeing in your game?
I love using realistic wood patterns in my medieval gameplay, rainbow/gradient patterns in my fantasy gameplay, and skulls and pentagram patterns in my occult gameplay.

6) What’s your favorite life stage of the Sims?
Young adult. No contest.

Elders were ignored, children were illogically limited, and EA clearly hates toddlers, cuz they got shafted altogether in TS4. 😛

6b) What’s your favorite lifestate of the Sims?

Witches from Supernatural. EA could have made them so much better, like giving them power over the weather or at least lightning powers, but out of all the lifestates they’re the most OP. Almost every sim of mine is a witch, no lie.

I also like the Aliens from Seasons. The only issue I have is their stupid black eyes and their robot voice, which I wish could be modded away. But I really like their powers as well.

7) What’s your favorite lot type/venue/rabbithole?
Even though I hate rabbitholes, as I prefer playable community lots, my favorite rabbitholes are the ones in Monte Vista and Midnight Hollow. They just look really good. Dragon Valley has beautiful ones, too.

8) What’s your favorite room type in the Sims?
The Study/Library for my magic-users. I love filling them up with cauldrons and maps and globes and paper clutter, and looking for cute knick-knacks that scream: A powerful mage works here, who has encountered rare and dangerous creatures!

9)  What one object or gameplay attribute from other Sims franchises would you want to see in your game now?
Aside from the skills and abilities and quests from TSM, I’m particularly jealous of TS4’s scifi stuff, like the holograms and games they can play with. I love ITF, but you can never have too many holograms. From TS2 I wish we had the classic old vampires back, because TS3′s are atrociously lame. From TS1 I’d like all of Makin Magic just…just inserted into TS3. Everything. All of it.

10)  What animal would you have preferred to get in the Pets EP?
Exotic animals, like peacocks, monkeys, and kangaroos we could practice boxing with. Farm animals, like llamas and sheep/goats/etc, which we could shear to harvest wool for a spinning/weaving skill, and milk to make our own cheeses or something. Magic animals, like adult dragons we could fly around on, and phoenixes, just because they’re like peacocks but magical.
