Something’s been irking me for a while.
I just finished my Blog Blocking purge, but I’m disappointed; cuz based on my blog’s activity (or lack thereof) I assumed I’d be blocking like half of my “followers”, which I thought were going to be tons of porn blogs and spam. But In the end I only ended up blocking 100 blogs, most of which were indeed spam accounts, and the occasional porn blog. They weren’t even good porn blogs, either. No hot man-on-man action at all; what a bore; just big fake boobs everywhere. U_U
But yeah, after all that I barely made a dent. Which makes me doubly confused as to why the bulk of the so-called “followers“ I’ve actually got I never hear from, or see reacting/responding to my posts. 
Are y’all like all on Hiatus or something?
Why do I have so many simblr followers, who never like a daggone thing I do?
It’s crazy, cuz no matter what I post, from whatever genre or fandom it’s from, on average I usually get around 15-30 notes tops, often from the same cluster of simblrs (I love each and every one of you, too ( * 3 * /) )!!. And when I actually upload something, on average it’s 100-200 notes.
But my Follower count is bigger than any of that, so I’m kinda feeling like –
If its always the same people even bothering to click Like or going further and actually leaving a message, then I don’t know what the eff the rest of y’all are waiting for.
I don’t Follow Back for the sake of Following Back. So if y’all are sitting in the cut waiting for me to Follow you back, frankly I suggest you jump ship ASAP.
Cuz I don’t want to keep seeing some big bloated Followers number that doesn’t even reflect the actual amount of simmers who actually like/comment on a g-d thing I post. I’d much rather have only 100 followers, who I know actually enjoy what I put up, rather than masses of silent strangers.
I don’t want notes; I want bloody consistency. Balance. Something.
I really wish Tumblr had a WHY ARE YOU FOLLOWING ME thing we could answer whenever we clicked Follow, cuz I really am curious as to why the rest of you are even here.
