Sorry I’ve been such a lurker lately – RL has me tripping over these hurdles lately; I can’t freaking wait for the semester to be over – 2 weeks left and then I’ll be a Senior! ^0^

I’m splitting the Replies into this brief one, and then a LONG one for all the Nagron-related replies, hohoho!

I have absolutely no idea about final fantasy,
but thank you for making those items.

Final Fantasy is probably the most amazing zomg awesomesauce bestest game franchise EVER to exist! My favorite is Final Fantasy 10, because it had THE BEST story, and I cried, to an obscene amount. I don’t usually cry playing video games, but FFX will DO YOU IN. /(U_U) FF10-2 was waaaay more chipper and lighthearted, and crazy enough that kind of pissed off a good portion of the fanbase, frikkin masochists. XD I played them on the PS2 waaay back in the day, though I got the brat monster the FFX/FFX-2 HD Remaster for PS3 and it does look much better on the next-gen machines.

TBH now I’m curious to see how the Skyrim HD Remaster will turn out. O_O

But yeah, for me it’s all about FFX, and X-2 to a certain extent, cuz it’s the same universe. FF12 was a great game as well (with the exception of Vaan he who shall remain nameless). Some people swear by FF8, which was alright though I didn’t like Squall too much. And of course there’s FF7, with the best RPG villain ever, Sephiroth, who is just SO DARN FINE I would have his babies if he wasn’t completely frikkin nuts!

Anyways, I wasn’t crazy about Crisis Core or Dirge of Cerberus or Dissidia or Kingdom Hearts, either (the little one likes Kingdom Hearts A LOT though, so I had to buy all of them anyways, grrr). And I HATE FF13 and all its derivatives. HATE. IMO the super-linear gameplay and FFX-ripoff storyline and annoying main character Lightning did nothing to make up for the pretty graphics. And the game was a bit, dare I say, too scifi and not fanciful enough.

I’m kind of dreading FF15, from the demo plays I’ve seen so far.  I watched the Kingsglaive movie and it’s no Advent Children, that’s for sure. But it does look pretty. But again, the fantasy just isn’t there, as much as the scifi is. If I wanted a scifi game I’d play one, I want FANTASY! >_<
