This file dump is a set of edits to some of the Asian CC I’ve been using.

Long Table Scrolls Decor
People familiar with my TSR uploads might already be familiar with this item, as I used it for both my GoT and LOTR scribe sets. It’s from the TS2 Library Set originally made by Katvip and converted to TS3 by Helen. I ripped the scroll off the end table to make it a standalone decor item, and slapped new textures on.

Floating Scrolls as Mirrors
That’s right you heard me – these scrolls are actually fully functional Mirrors,
not just simple decor.

(As you can tell from the CRAP quality) I personally edited the mesh shape of the Long Table Scroll to make this….thing. In Onmyoji 2 Abe no Seimei’s study has all these floating scrolls, so I decided to make some for my sims. But I wanted it to look like sims could actually “read” them. Closest I could think of was the in-game mirror interactions, especially Practice Speech/Charisma. :
Scroll #1 has a handful of random images from the Hell Scrolls, Japanese myths, pictures of different kami and yokai, Chinese scrolls on display at The Met, etc etc. (Click X X X to see variations.)
Scroll #2 is an inverted mesh, and is mostly random Buddhist sutras, mudras, charts, and Enso, with a few randoms thrown in. (Click X X X

Taru as Misc Surface 1, 2, and 3
The originals are from a set made by @noiranddarksims. I couldn’t resist having some custom omiki/kazaridaru for my shrine lots, so I split the mesh into one single barrel, made the taru recolorable & stackable, and slapped on a bunch of variations.
There are 3 different taru included: Taru #1 has images from pop culture references – Okami, Totoro, Daruma-san, Orochi, etc. Taru #2 has a lot of variations of Nihonshu and Sake in kanji. Taru #3 is a bit of a departure from the Shinto red-white-black, as I threw in more colorful pastels (pink, mostly).
EA Year of the Tiger Poster Redone
EA never fails to tease you with something that just barely goes the distance. The poster we got in this set is so cool, but the frikkin calligraphy characters weren’t recolorable for whatever flippin reason – until now! ^0^
You don’t need the original for this to work.

Ofuda & Senjafuda Wall Stickers
Ritsuka used to have an awesome collection of ofuda (reuploaded here thank god). I just split the textures into the Colorful modern ofuda and the Plain older ones. (The original TS2 variations seen here.)
In addition, I made an extra tattered Senjafuda wall sticker I took right from a RL shrine wall, cuz it looked cool.
Sanpo as Misc Surface
Snakelegs has one of the best and oldest Japanese living sets for TS3, including this adorable New Years mochi. I love the little stand it’s sitting on, so I ripped it from the mesh, added 9 decor slots, and called it a day.
TS2 to TS3 Coffee Table
Moonsims has A LOT of cultural CC I really miss.The Moroccan set included a cute octagonal table, but whenever I look at it Morocco’s far from my mind – I’m thinking: Bagua. Hence:

Kotatsu as Dining Table
There are so many decorative kotatsu & poses out there, and even a few functional ones that use the sunken floor trick Snakelegs I think started. But I just wanted a simple frikkin dinner table, even if the realism is tarnished by using regular chairs and not floor cushions. Ah well.
I think it looks a wee bit silly, but whatever.
