I go back to UNI on Monday. Meh.

I had two health scares this break, but they were taken care of in time, thank goodness. At least I had a lot of fun this winter break – did a lot of simming, reading, eating, video gaming, youtubing…avoiding as many RL responsibilities as I possibly could, basically. Good times. Good times.

I wish we could make actual Temple Community Lots, like the churches from TSM, where sims could actually go pray and consult priests. Or even have therapists sims could go to to ponder the meaning of plumbbobs and the evolution if the llama. Frikkin unfair.

Wonderful costumes! I’m sorry you’re having morph problems though.

I
know – there are 4 outfits I made so far that have done this weird
disappearing thing. I’m not altogether convinced it’s a morph thing, cuz
2 of them are pretty low poly, but then 2 of them (Keiji’s included)
are a bit higher poly. I think they’re just cursed, honestly; none of my
other outfits do this stupidness! >_<

planning xD.. -sigh- not always a success.

I’m still ruminating over what I want the actual performance to look like – what I want to do I have limited CAS CC and poses for, but I have a general idea in my head. I’m just so frikkin lazy. 😛 At least it’ll keep me busy in 2017, since I don’t really have much else planned – yet… >_>

I was super jealous of TS2 having all that cool Asian stuff in Bon Voyage and TS3 not getting more in World Adventures or a standalone EP or World at the Store. 😦 Don’t get me wrong – Shang Simla is the freaking best, but it’s not Japan. :

Interesting write-up and pix

There was another article I read, No Show Gatsu
(LOL) about a professor doing an in-class survey of what his students
knew about traditional Japanese New Years practices, versus what they
all actually did for Oshogatsu, and none of them flew a kite or did much
of anything else. He was going off about the loss of tradition and the
waning of Shinto culture, and it made me sad.

Almost every year I’ve tried to do a Lunar New Year upload, but this was the first time I had time to go all-in and at least virtually immerse myself in the culture, even if I know I’m not gonna get my butt up and fly any daggone kites in crappy NYC weather. 😛

Yeah interesting read! And I had no idea those kites
from Danjaley were a real thing! WOW!!!!

Yeah, she made plenty of them, too – but you need Midnight Hollow for them to work. If you’ve got it you should definitely get their kite mod and try it out – for New Years’ sake! ^_^
