The boss of EA is in front of you asking for one statement about
The Sims before he goes away and makes TS5. What do you say to him? I’d tell them to slow the eff down and bloody think before rushing another game and pissing us off again! >_<
Do your Sims know of you as their Sim God or are you the invisible deity to them? Some days I’m a good Watcher, other days….well… >_> My game my rules amirite!? XD
How do you see yourself connected to your Sims? Do those of you who say
you love them, really mean this? How deep is your game? I love the sims I make that I use the most. They are my precious pixel babies. But EA’s premades can burn for all I care.
Can we
learn anything from our Sims to take away into our real lives? And/Or
can you give us an example of how The Sims has influenced you outside of
gaming. Learning how to create CC is a effing skillset, I can tell you that. U_U
What do you get inspiration from ? My favorite tv and game fandoms. I love recreating things that I see, and challenging myself to get things as close to just right as I can. I love things fanciful/magical/otherworldly.
Do you sometimes want to create a sim story out of a dream you had ? I have a harder time just whipping up something from out of my crazy brain, than just going off of what I can clearly see in front of me. Every time I’ve imagined something willy-nilly, it has never come out how I pictured it.
What’s your favourite build you have ever done OR EA made build?
My Howl’s Moving Castle lot.That mofo literally took me like 2 years to make, no lie.
How many screenshots do you have? *mad cackling*
Give or take a couple hundred .psds for Photoshop, there’s your answer. O_O And that’s just everything since I joined Tumblr. I lost everything from 2009 – 2011 on my original external harddrive.
Have you ever tried to make a custom world? Whether by the Create a World tool or in a save, it doesn’t matter. Yes, when the CAW tool first came out I tried to make Neverland from Peter Pan. I got pretty darn far, too – got the geography and terrain and physical landmarks down. It was a lot of fun, honestly. But the program started glitching on me when it came time to add the lots, when I was like 75% done. It never fixed itself, no matter how many times I uninstalled/reinstalled. Oh well.
Imagine you have no responsibilities. Would you rather play the
Sims a little everyday or spend two days a week playing as much as you
want? I’d rather sim a little every day than go for long stretches of time without simming at all. But alas, RL gets in the way a lot, so sometimes I can’t sim until the weekend, or on days when my schedule is lighter.
