My Questions for you
I always like this more if you can provide some pics.
1) Do you have a sim or family you play with for a very long time? Tell us! My avatar sim, Sakura, is the first TS3 sim I ever made. She’s married to her slightly useless dragon shapeshifter familiar, Ryuu. They currently don’t have any kids, though in ITF they got some descendants and plumbbot & simbot live-in servants.
2) Have you ever felt attracted to one of your or another simblr’s sims? I perv on @lolabourbonsims‘ Jack Presley sim.
3) How would you describe what makes your simblr/gameplay special? Well… All I do is recreate things from other games and shows I like for TS3. I was told once that I have a particular style with my screenshots, but I don’t really see it. 😛
4) How did you come up with turning your sims game into the historical era/ unusual creative setting your blog is known for? I hate real life. The Sims is my escape from reality. I like immersing myself in things that can take me away from the mundane, and living vicariously through characters that come from magical, timeless, exotic places. (Plus I’m just a giant otaku obsessed with anime and Asia, so there’s that, too. 😛 )
5) What is important to you when selecting new CC? For build/buy content I crave historical and cultural pieces. I have very limited use for contemporary CC, unless it’s timeless pieces like boho, shabby chic, retro/vintage, etc. I like CC that I can use no matter what gameplay I decide to do. For CAS I’m a Male CC SJW. 80% of my sims are guys, and it’s so hard finding content for them. U_U I get angry when I see new female cc sometimes.
6) Have you ever created yourself or someone from RL as sim? As soon as I got the game I sat down with my family and recreated me, my mom, and my sisters. They cracked up the entire time; it was awesome.
7) What makes the tumblr community so lovely for you? The CC, of course, especially now that sites like TSR and MTS are practically deadzones for TS3 content with so many TS4 defectors. I’m happy that the simblrs are still active and that the community is pushing forward, regardless of EA’s shenanigans. There’s also the freedom of expression here; I don’t have to worry about stupid site/forum rules and regulations. I can do what I want, when and how I want.
8) What is your greatest sims skill: CAW, CAS or Building? Definitely Building, particularly interiors. It’s what drew me to The Sims franchise in the first place. When I was a kid my dream was to be an interior decorator, and that’s why my friend showed me her Sims game, since she knew back then I was always sketching blueprints and collecting furniture magazines.
9) If one of your sims could have a cameo in another simblr’s story/ game … Which simblr it would be? I don’t really like the idea of inserting my sims into other people’s games, even if I love other people’s gameplay. My sandbox is over here, yours is over there, awesome. I’m too territorial.
10) Which is your most favourite building you ever did? Probably my Howl’s Moving Castle lot – that mofo took me like 2 years to finish, and I’m pretty pleased with how it turned out.
